#7 - What to Do in El Eje Cafetero

¡My amigos! I’m so excited to see you back on day 7 of our series!; Retiring in Colombia Like a Millionaire. For today’s section, we are going to explore places to visit and activities to do in the southern part of El Eje Cafetero.

What I love most about El Eje Cafetero is visiting the picturesque villages that dot the Colombian countryside. In each one you can find breathtaking views, colonial architecture, and brightly painted houses, along with locally owned bakeries, restaurants, and cafes that give each town its own distinct charm and flavor.

We highly recommend that you take the time to explore at least some of these enchanting little towns during your visit, and below are photographs of our favorites:
